Kerry Dunnington, a culinary consultant and caterer, specializes in healthy eating and entertaining.

In addition to writing Tasting the Seasons and her earlier book, she writes a monthly column, Tasting the Seasons for Slow Food. She has also written for regional and national magazines and newspapers including the Examiner newspapers, Smart Woman, Baltimore Eats, and the Urbanite.

Dunnington frequently does health-oriented cooking presentations on sustainability for Slow Food, Whole Foods Market and Bon Appétit Management Company for Johns Hopkins University students and faculty.

A life-long eco-stylist and food enthusiast, Dunnington has served on the Chef's Council and the Board of the American Institute of Wine and Food and is founder of Slow Food Baltimore's "Eat in Season Challenge."

In addition to endorsing and encouraging sustainable practices, Kerry enthusiastically shares the benefits of bioregional living. Dunnington's new cookbook, This Book Cooks will be published in June 2015.

The author lives with her husband (and official taste-tester), Nick, and their Norwich terrier, Caramel, in Baltimore, Maryland. Kerry is at work on her third cookbook.
